Broadway Classroom will present a special one-day workshop, Broadway Inside and Out on Saturday, September 25. The workshop will be taught by Billy Elliot cast member Stephanie Kurtzuba and will feature music and choreography from the Tony-winning musical.
All theater fans are invited to take part in the special day. Included in the $165 ticket price are lunch at Planet Hollywood and a ticket for the matinee performance of Billy Elliot. The three-hour workshop will offer participants the opportunity to learn musical selections and choreography from the show as well as ask cast members from Billy Elliot questions about their experiences as working professionals on Broadway. Participants must apply by August 15 and can do so on Broadway Classroom's website. Students must be over the age of 10 to apply.
Stephanie Kurtzuba currently plays Mum in the Broadway production of Billy Elliot. Her past Broadway credits include The Boy From Oz and Mary Poppins. She has also appeared off-Broadway in Bat Boy, The Joys of Sex, Newsical and A Mother A Daughter and a Gun.
